The 7th grade football took on Carroll on a steamy Wednesday night. The Tigers fought a tough battle with Carroll however came up on the short end of a 26-6 score.
The Tigers were led on Offense by Knox Kessler, who had the only score for Edgewood, as he caught a perfectly thrown ball by Luke Finley for a 50 yard touchdown.
The Tiger defense made some nice plays to slow a potent Charger offense, however, gave up a few too many long plays. The Tigers defense was led by Gunnar Whitaker and Jay Horrell.
The 7th grade Tigers football team is back in action next Tuesday at Lincoln Middle School, game time is at 5:30.
